Abstract: The intelligent gateway was proposed to solve the complex problems of IoT diversification and non-uniform complexity standards. The IoT technology that emerged to address these problems solved many problems and enhanced the IoT’s ability to process information and provide services. This article will briefly introduce the application background of the intelligent gateway, and roughly introduce its hardware composition, and conduct an in-depth analysis and introduction of the software technology of the intelligent gateway.

3.1 Briefly describe the functions of OSGi middleware
Generally speaking, intelligent gateway software platforms have many functions. In addition to the basic gateway functions, the OSGi gateway middleware functions are also relatively basic and common. Users often use this middleware to manage and operate some software modules. Users can increase the scope of use of the gateway and facilitate our operations by uploading data fusion modules or changing software modules. As we all know, the three major parts of the Linux system environment, middleware software and middleware platform are the components of the gateway middleware architecture, and they play an important role according to their own functions. During the use process, software loading and unloading, software version updates, etc. all rely on the middleware platform to complete, and the middleware software is mainly used to realize the plug-and-play and dynamic update functions of functional modules. If the received command is a downlink command, we need to make a judgment and then send the data to different ports.

In the process of using the Internet of Things, we need to solve the interoperability problem between different protocols. To solve this problem, we need to set up the corresponding protocol adaptation layer to adapt to the diversity of devices and solve unnecessary troubles. In this process, the message format of different types of perception information will be defined by the XML template, and then the intelligent gateway will uniformly encapsulate the data in the lower standard format. This operation can turn different protocols into the same recognizable messages and instructions. 4.1 Overview
