Connection steps of DASN three-phase current transformer and electric energy meter
The DASN three-phase current transformer usually has three independent primary windings and secondary windings, corresponding to phase A, phase B and phase C respectively.
The primary winding is usually connect to the three-phase current of the power system through a high-voltage cable, and the secondary winding outputs the measurement signal to the energy meter.
The energy meter has corresponding current and voltage input terminals.
Connect the output terminals of each DASN three-phase current transformers secondary winding (usually marked as S1 and S2) to the corresponding current input terminals (such as IA, IB, IC) of the energy meter.
In addition to the current signal, the energy meter also needs to connect the voltage signal. According to the voltage level of the power system, connect the voltage signals of phase A, phase B and phase C to the corresponding voltage input terminals (such as VA, VB, VC) of the energy meter.
Make sure all connections are correct and secure. Check whether the wiring complies with the wiring diagram and specification requirements of the energy meter and DASN current transformer.
Ensure the polarity of the DASN three-phase current transformer is correct (i.e. the connection sequence of S1 and S2) to avoid measurement errors.
The main function of the three-phase combined current transformer is to convert the current in the three-phase circuit into a standard low-level current signal. These signals can be transmitt to meters, protective relays, and controllers for monitoring and controlling the status of circuits. In addition, the CCT can also be power by an AC power source for measuring the current in a DC circuit.
